Well... haven't posted since the first post at the start of the year. So might as well jump into my fandom stuff \o/

  • Still been hooked on Sanders Sides and constantly posting my silly little drawings on my fanart blogs to annoy everyone who had followed me for any other fandom but that :'D Bit wary of interacting with the fandom since the majority are on the young side and the drama seems to make its rounds whenever Thomas makes an update (I'm stressed out enough over stuff in my own day-to-day, so I can't afford to dedicate that kind of energy in that way). But there are nice people on there and the fanworks are fun to consume and make, so I'm not leaving any time soon. Also I just like watching the videos - they're kind of a comfortable cringe I enjoy and some parts of it are just enjoyable. Thomas is pretty much my age and its just nice to watch something that's not downright depressing or 'adult' about adult issues. In addition, his characters are fun (I don't care that the majority of the fandom hate him - Patton is my absolute favourite. Although with that being said, I like all of them to be honest) and I like listening to his songs as well as the character playlist which introduced me to so much new music :)
  • After watch Thomas Sanders Cartoon Therapy videos, I finally got round to watching Steven Universe and Avatar the Last Airbender. I'm still on the early series with both of them, but I'm really liking them so far. Probably more invested in Avatar than Steven Universe - I can't believe I've waited so long to watch it, I'm beginning to understand all those references I've seen on Tumblr for years XD But with that being said Steven Universe is cute and I really respect Rebecca Sugar for everything they've done for queer representation. I'm looking forward to watching the rest of both series.
  • Watched Frozen 2 for the first time, and even though I had mixed feelings about the film itself - I really love the soundtrack and have been re-listening to some of the songs.
  • Thanks to discovering the Death Note musical on youtube earlier this year, I have re-entered my Death Note phase like its 2009. It's even better because along with watching the Japanese performance of the musical (I've watched the first half of the Korean performance and... choices were made that made me pause watching the rest lol), I've just finished watching the TV drama from 2015. It was a lot better than I expected, even though it kind of falls flat in the last two episodes - I really like how they're handled this divergence of Light Yagami and pretty-boy L is just fun to watch. Not gonna lie, episode 8 had me feeling a lot more emotional over Light and L than the anime version :'D
