As often as I am online - I never seem to get round to doing a post on here.
I guess I get a weird anxiety about posting and any potential interaction - which sucks since back in my Livejournal days I use to write a post everyday on top of drawing original stuff and fan art to post on deviantart in addition to sharing them on LJ. So now that 2022 is nearly coming to an end and I have a bit of time, I thought that I'd do a bit of writing just to get the ball rolling some more.

- Got into Markiplier in Space earlier in the year and since then I've been falling down the lore & fandom rabbit hole for the collection of webseries :'D Initially I just thought that Markiplier just did gameplays on his channel (which I had only occasionally watched like FNAF and the rare other series that would catch my eye - as well as the animated shorts fans would make and I still rewatch to this day); but I had found out that he made quite a few short films and choose-your-own adventure stories via youtube, which I got hooked on. Also the the fandom on Tumblr is just so much more fun to be around because its a mix of whatever Mark is currently doing and fandoms creating fanworks based on his egos/mini-series (at the moment Mark is breaking the internet threatening to make an OnlyFans if people can get his podcast series to the top of the charts on Apple and Spotify. Since I never have time nor focus to listen to podcasts, let alone have access to to either platforms, I can't take part. That and I have no real interest in seeing his butt, but I hope it actually happens because that would be fucking hilarious).
- Great British Bake Off is just having the joy sucked out of it thanks to the judges Paul and Pru with their shitty themes and challenges. In addition to how unfunny Matt has been (although I will give him a pass on that Paul impersonation "This has too much chocolate - it needs more chocolate"), Noel is literally the only person alongside the contestants that I look forward to seeing on this cursed show. I haven't seen the Halloween episode yet, but last week's challenge by Pru "Just make a lemon meringue pie" made me want to violently throw cream pies at Pru's face - like the whole point of a technical challenge is to give them some kind of framework to work with with very basic recipes. One of the contestants never even made one before and got a bollocking for not doing it correctly. God that would have made me feral if I went through that. I'll watch it til the end, but Jesus this show is speeding down hill by the episode. And no one wants to see Paul get horny over the tory contestant!! DX
- There's three series I've started and really want to finish, but just haven't had time to actually watch it because they're on different platforms. I can watch hours of youtube videos when I'm helping out with Mum because I can have a show on while I'm doing some work on another screen - but things like Demon Slayer and Our Flag Means Death have to be played separately and that's when she notices I'm watching something; so of course that's when she and everyone else starts to talk to me/ask me to do stuff when I'm trying to watch those shows >:( Then with Don't Hug Me I'm Scared, I have it all recorded on the TV but rarely get a chance to get to the tv to watch it - that and its a weird horror show so I can't just play it since I could tell the first two shows freaked the family out a bit. So I guess I'm waiting until I suddenly get some free time.
- Been reading so much this year. I might make another post focused on books alone - but also read so much manga too. Been reading School Zone Girls in particular which has been fun and probably the best kind of yuri that's been entertaining to read. Then I got a free manga called Crossplay Punk x Otaku, which is a fun-dumb story that I'm living for; its somehow both a shonen-ai and shojou-ai, featuring two teen boys who hate each other irl, but have major crushes on each other when dressed up (unaware of their actual identities with one working as a maid in a cafe and the other dressing up to see the other so that they had an excuse to go in thinking that it would be weird for a guy to go alone - shenanigans ensues lol).
- E4 have been showing a lot of cartoon series so I've been watching the new series of Rick & Morty and Harley Quinn in addition to Tuca and Birdie - all are pretty enjoyable so far, though R & M been a bit weirder than usual, but eh I like weird anyways so I'll see it through. Also been watching Bob's Burgers with Dad, which is a nice show and Dad just seems amused by the fact that Bob has the same voice actor as the main from Archer (which I keep meaning to look into how many series there are of that one).
